The Gabriola Health Care Foundation has received an offer of a donation of 4.1 acres of land located at the north end of Church Street. This property is one of three sites now being considered for the proposed community-owned Gabriola Community Health Clinic. Gabriolans may review information regarding all three building sites at the Volunteer Office in the Village (formerly the Village Hardware store) and provide their comments thereon.
At the Special General Meeting members will receive an update from the GHCF Board of Directors. They will also be asked to approve a resolution authorizing the Board to evaluate the sites being considered, and to proceed with appropriate applications for rezoning and, if required, severance of their preferred site.
